An Introduction to Shroomfest Inc.
Shroomfest Inc. is a registered Non Profit Corporation and is hosted the first week of May. The annual Shroomfest Men’s Night has raised over $500,000.00 which is returned into the community in the form of monetary donations. With our event we have three key themes:
Small local Charities including the Purchase of Safety Equipment for Baseball, Figure Skating, Just Kiddin’ Theatre & other Youth related Sporting events.
Senior’s in our Community ie. Home Support, Osgoode Care Centre, Winchester Hospital, & Other Senior Programs.
Supporting the Rural Recreation Beautification Committees of Osgoode Ward 20 ie. The Purchasing & Watering of Hanging Baskets, & Village Entrance Ways.
The evening is attended by approximately 550 people with AJ’s Catering providing an excellent buffet, Silent and Live auction by James Auction Service Ltd, followed by Entertainment. Last year, at our Cheque presentation evening June 7th, the Beneficiaries received donations in the amount or $62,950.00.
Our annual fundraising event continues to be a great success due to the support of all local businesses and individuals with their donations & volunteered time to make things go smoothly.
